We are very pleased to invite you to the 10th edition of the LinGhentian Doctorials, the PhD conference organised by and for PhD students of linguistics at Ghent University. The LinGhentian Doctorials are not only an opportunity to present your own research to your colleagues and get feedback, they also serve the purpose of getting to know your fellow PhD students from other Departments.
We also warmly welcome MA students who would like to present their research. In particular, MA students who are considering pursuing a PhD are encouraged to use the Doctorials as an opportunity to present and discuss their PhD project proposals or research ideas, receive feedback, and gain experience presenting their work in an academic setting.
We welcome all topics that are in any way related to language sciences, communication studies, language education, and translation studies.
The LinGhentian Doctorials will take place between 16th and 18th December 2026 in room A1.04, campus Mercator A (Abdisstraat 1).
